Give every viewer control over their own volume levels. The Faders OBS plugin sends separate audio layers alongside your stream, so your audience can build personal mixes while your broadcast stays the same. Setup takes about five minutes.

Use Twitch, or an email link and then connect Twitch. This confirms the channel is yours. Faders never posts or changes anything on your account.
One click gives you a key to paste into OBS. Keys are shown once, and you can revoke one any time.

Install the free plugin, restart OBS, then in Tools → Faders paste the key and choose which sources are voice, game and music. Go live as usual.
Free. For OBS Studio 32 or newer on Windows 10/11 (64-bit) or macOS 13+ (Apple silicon and Intel). Follow the OBS plugin setup guide, then separate your OBS audio tracks for viewer controls.

Soon you'll be able to keep Faders for followers or Tier 1, 2 or 3 subscribers, a reason to upgrade that viewers use every stream. For now it's open to everyone.
During ad breaks, Faders steps aside and viewers hear Twitch's own audio. Your ad revenue doesn't change.
About 380 kbps while someone's listening, and nothing when nobody is. Your Twitch encode is untouched.

No. Your stream goes to Twitch exactly as before. The plugin sends a separate, lightweight copy of your voice, game and music layers, and only while someone is listening.
About 380 kbps while at least one viewer is listening at the default Twitch quality (about 580 kbps at Pro's High setting, 770 kbps at Partner's Studio setting), and nothing when nobody is.
Yes. Faders detects ad breaks and steps aside, so viewers hear Twitch's own audio until the ad ends.
Soon. Follower and Tier 1, 2 or 3 subscriber gating is coming to Pro. For now, Faders is open to every viewer with the extension.
Not inside Streamlabs Desktop yet. Faders works in OBS Studio today, and you can add Streamlabs' own plugin for OBS to keep your alerts. A standalone Faders app for other streaming software is coming.
Twitch is supported today. YouTube Live, Kick and X/Twitter support are on the roadmap and are not available yet.
The music layer is your stream's music, so the same rules apply: only play music you have the rights to stream.
Set it up in five minutes. Start free, go Pro when your audience grows.
