For streamers
The streamer portal, plans and billing
Plugin keys, live listener stats and stream history at faders.tv/portal, plus Free and Pro listener limits, upgrading, cancelling and refunds.
The streamer portal at faders.tv/portal is where you connect your Twitch channel to Faders, create the keys the OBS plugin uses, watch who's listening and manage your plan. Sign in with Twitch, or with an email link and a linked Twitch account.
#Live stats
While you stream, the dashboard updates every couple of seconds:
- Listening now: viewers using Faders on your stream right now, and your plan's limit.
- Peak this stream and Listener-hours.
- OBS plugin: whether the plugin is connected, its version, and the upload rate while someone is listening.
- Listeners · last 30 minutes: a live chart.
#What are listener-hours?
Listener-hours add up the time every Faders listener spent listening. Three viewers listening for 20 minutes each make one listener-hour, and so does one viewer listening for an hour. It's a better measure than the peak of how much your viewers actually use Faders, because it counts people who stay. Peak this stream is the most listeners you had at the same moment.
When a newer plugin is out, a banner here links to the download. OBS shows the same notice in Tools → Faders.
#Plugin keys
The OBS plugin card lists your keys by their first characters and when each was last used.
- New key creates one. It's shown once, so copy it into OBS straight away. Faders keeps only a fingerprint and can't show it again.
- Revoke disconnects that key immediately. Revoke any key you think has leaked, then make a new one.
#Can I stream from two PCs?
Yes. Create a separate key for each PC, so you can revoke one without touching the other. All your keys connect the same channel.
#Past streams (Pro)
Pro channels keep a history of each stream: when it started, how long it ran, peak listeners and listener-hours. These are counts only; Faders doesn't record who listened.
#Who gets Faders
Keeping Faders for followers or subscribers is coming to Pro. When it arrives, you'll choose in the portal whether Faders is open to everyone, to followers, or to Tier 1, 2 or 3 subscribers. For now, every viewer with the extension can use it on your channel.
#Plans and limits
Viewers never pay. Streamers start free.

#What counts as a listener?
A listener is one viewer with Faders turned on for your channel at that moment, not everyone watching your stream. Viewers who never open Faders on the video, and everyone on phones and TV apps, don't count toward your limit. The portal shows the live number under Listening now.
#What happens when my channel is full?
Once the limit is reached, more viewers simply hear Twitch's normal audio, and the extension tells them Faders is full and tries again every 30 seconds. Nothing breaks on your stream.
The limit follows your plan when the plugin connects. If you upgrade mid-stream, it applies the next time the plugin reconnects, for example when you next go live.
#Why does a viewer see a message about several devices?
Faders allows up to 4 listeners from the same network on one channel at a time, so one household or office can't fill a channel's places. A viewer who opens Faders on a fifth device or tab hears Twitch's normal audio, and the extension tries again every 30 seconds.
#Billing
#How do I upgrade to Pro?
In the portal, choose Go Pro (monthly) or the yearly option. Checkout is handled by RevenueCat, with card payments by Stripe; Faders never sees your full card number. Prices are in US dollars, plus any sales tax, VAT or GST where you live. Your channel turns Pro as soon as the payment goes through.
#How do I cancel?
Choose Manage billing next to your plan badge in the portal. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for, then your channel moves to Free. Nothing is deleted, but Pro features such as stream history stop.
#Can I get a refund?
Yes, within 7 days. Email hello@faders.tv within 7 days of a charge for a full refund. The details are in the Terms.
#How do I delete my account?
Email hello@faders.tv and ask us to delete it. Deleting an account removes its channel, plugin keys and stream summaries. If you'd rather stop for now, revoke your keys and uninstall the plugin; your channel stays on Free. See the privacy policy for what's stored.
